Rod Roost - Single Rod Setup

Overall, the product is quite reasonable and has good potential. I would kindly suggest enhancing the magnet, as its performance decreases when damp or wet. The carabiner also seems somewhat large and tends to wobble during fly casting, which could be improved for greater stability. Thanks

Thanks so much for your review Ozzy. Both of your concerns are new to us and we'd love to hear a little more about your setup and experience so we can improve. As a rule, magnets aren't impacted by water so that shouldn't be an issue. Also, can you tell us more about where and how you have the carabiner attached to your body? Definitely shouldn't be something you notice while casting. Thanks again, any more details you can offer would be much appreciated. Good luck out there!

Could be stronger

It doesn't hold the weight of my fairly standard 6 weight + reel

Thanks for the review John, could you shoot us an email with a picture of your setup on your rod? We've found a lot of times when the magent doesn't seem strong enough it's actually a setup issue as it should hold a standard six weight without issue. If that doesn't make a difference, we'll ship you out an XL so you can have some extra power.
