The Fly Roost XL is a magnetic fly threader designed to help you rig larger flies, even with gloves on. It works just like its little brother the Fly Roost but accommodates hooks in the 10 to 4/0 range. The magnet holds the fly, the funnel threads the line through the eye, and the shaft spins for quick knot tying.
Low light, shaky hands, or bad eyes are no match for the Fly Roost XL!

These make threading flies quick and easy. Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT buy the cheap 3D counterfeits, American made is worth the price!
Works great the best product available.
Great, easy to use. Helps for quick and easy threading g through those tiny flys
Thanks for the review Jayme, love to hear it. Tight lines.
I made the mistake of falling for a counterfeit, ad looked legit, was I wrong. I skeptically reordered straight from Talweg, had to wait for it, but it was worth the wait. Made getting the fly on much easier with my scarred up 55 year old semi arthritic mechanic's hands. Great job Talweg! My only suggestion would be to supply a lanyard with it.I'm looking at your Rod Roost next, looks like another great product!
Thanks for the review Chuck, love to hear it. Have fun out there.
Good piece of equipment so far!
Thanks James!
