The fly Roost is good but when using it with size 16 soft hackle wish the slots for the hook eye were slightly larger. Unless the head of the fly is small I find it difficult for the hook eye to seat sufficiently to allow for passage of the tippet thru the eye.

Fly Roost spares frustration
This is a nice lightweight device that does what it's supposed to, and does it well. I sent one to a friend whose limited eyesight makes it difficult to thread tippets through hook eyes - it's the best of its kind.

A great tool when it’s cold outside
Well, I usually use a Davy knot, this nifty tool is really handy when my fingers are frozen. Everything lines up, give it a few twists, and you’ve only got one maneuver with your fingers to worry about.
